I tried all the cheap imitations and they just did not work. – I have a Dell Venue Pro 11 7140, which is the Dell competitor to the Surface Pro. It may be called a tablet, but it’s really a small laptop with a removable keyboard. I wanted to make it a pick up and go replacement for my laptop for convenience, but to do that I really needed to sync all my files (on my laptop I have a 256GB partition where I put all files.. documents, music, pictures, etc.). I use software called GoodSync to keep files replicated wirelessly across multiple devices (for backups, etc.). The Venue has a maximum 256GB SSD built in. Since it has an SDXC slot, I thought I could get a flash card and use it with BitLocker encryption. And wow, you can get 256GB SDXC cards for between $15 and $50 on the internet. NOT.

as it doesn’t seem to like my good old Lexar – I was looking for a proper piece to feed my new Note4 with, as it doesn’t seem to like my good old Lexar. 256GB standard size that served me reliably for 3 years (and still counting) inside two of the Note predecessors through the 2 and on to the 3 until this very moment as of writing this review. While the spoiled Note4 agreed to take this Lexar (other capacities of Lexar work just fine) about 2 occasional attempts and refused the rest with “corruption error”, Note3 keeps taking it as before and I’m able again to access all my data in there. That was about the time I decided to get rid of those bulky fragile SD adapters and keep my phone rugged yet in shape, rather than re-shape it. I paid some extra fees to get this shiny card which I had no doubt to perfect match the Note4, and the little beast is happy again. No disappointments whatsoever, Speeds look correct reading about 90MB/s and writing at about 30MB/s (may vary), Owned it for a month now and surely it will last for long.

The best as of mid 2016, fantastic for Galaxy Note or for Astell & Kern devices – I bought two of the 256 GB cards a month ago,

Roomy – Can hold copious amounts of picture and video. I bought one for my Galaxy S7 and it has worked great.

    6. O. K (verified owner)

More than what I need. – It performed well in my Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe. Read speed using my mobile is 68.61 MB/s, write speed is 48.14MB/s as testing with A1 SD Benchmark app. Using a Windows 10 desktop with a USB 3.0 port gave better results with 85 read and 80 MB/s write (see screenshot).
